Lighting and Learning Project: building a reader-friendly environment that facilitates learning
In order to provide educational benefactions to rural schoolchildren, Lextar has organized the Lighting and Learning Project. A spontaneous fundraising crusade that came about among Lextar employees gave rise to the project. As this project of Lextar is set to enable school-library makeovers in outlying rural communities, we have reached out to Chulin Branch of Garden Elementary School and MEKARANG, Emei, Hsinle and GingPing elementary schools. With Lextar’s donations, the libraries and classrooms were renovated, and reinstalling luminaires with energy-saving LED tubes creates brighter, more delighting and reader-friendly environment for the rural schoolchildren.
